The check
Every listing — Basic, Checked, and Featured — passes the same check before it appears. A submission alone never creates a listing.
- Website. The site loads, belongs to the business, and shows what the business makes.
- Address. A real business address, not a mailbox or a placeholder.
- Active. The business is operating — trading, taking orders, or otherwise active.
Robert reviews each submission and we reply by email, usually within a business day, to the contact email. A listing appears once the checks pass.
The three tiers

Free
Business name, location, categories, what they make, and a link to their site. Checked before it appears. No badge, no top placement.
Checked
Contact for pricing
Everything in Basic, plus the Checked badge. The badge means the website, address, and activity were checked. It is not a review of product quality.
Featured
Contact for pricing
Everything in Checked, plus top placement in its category. Featured is a paid placement, so its link is marked as sponsored.
What we do not list
- Businesses we could not check — no website, no address, or no sign of activity.
- Listings made up to fill a category. Empty categories stay empty until a real business is checked.
- Paid placement without disclosure: any paid listing's link is marked as sponsored.
Listings come down if the business closes, the website stops working, or the checks no longer pass.
Pricing
Basic listings are free. Checked and Featured pricing is by contact for now — Stripe payment links are coming. No price is published on this site.
Checked on LabelOrigin badge
Checked and Featured listings may show this badge on their own site. It links back to the directory, so a buyer can see the listing and how it was checked. Paste the code as-is: it is plain HTML with inline styles, so it needs no JavaScript on your site.
Attribution is part of the badge. Please keep the link — it is how buyers find the directory and check the listing themselves.

What do you check before a listing appears?

How do I get the Checked badge?
Submit the Get listed form, then Robert checks the website, address, and activity. Checked listings carry the badge and the badge snippet below. The badge means the business was checked, not that LabelOrigin reviewed its products.
What does Featured include?
Featured listings sit at the top of their category. The placement is paid, so the listing's link is marked as sponsored. Pricing is by contact for now. Featured does not change what the listing says — the facts are still checked the same way.
What happens if a listing's details change?
Tell us through the contact page or by email, and we update the listing. Listings also come down if the business closes, the website stops working, or the checks no longer pass. A listing is a snapshot of a checked business, not a permanent endorsement.
