The range at a glance
Every product below is confirmed on sass-ee.com — name, DHA strength where published, and size. That is the point of this page: the catalog, published, before you ever talk to anyone.

The confirmed size range across the line is 1 oz to 1 gallon. The smallest published formats are the 1 oz additive drops and the face crème; the largest are the 1-gallon back-bar jugs. Retail formats span 1 to 8 oz across the line — the table groups products that share a strength, not a single size.
Spray solutions and the DHA ladder
The professional solutions are the core of the line: the base Sass-ee Tan solution, Show-Off Competition Tan, and Colour Me Hydrated, all in gallon, quart and 8 oz formats. The confirmed DHA ladder is 8%, 8.5% and 10%, plus a no-DHA Show-Off.
Two things the table does not explain on its own. The base solution and the 8.5% retail spray tan are separate catalog listings — the base is the professional solution in gallon, quart and 8 oz; the 8.5% is a 4 oz retail spray. And Colour Me Hydrated is listed as a solution alongside the base tan and Show-Off; what it is formulated for is not published — ask for current specs.
Higher strengths are not published on sass-ee.com. If a supplier quotes you 12% or 14% DHA for SASS-EE, ask for the spec sheet — those strengths are not confirmed in the catalog. The full decision guide is choosing a spray tan solution DHA strength.
Do not shop by strength alone. The ladder is the range, not a ranking. Which strength a salon stocks depends on its clients and how it sprays — that is a conversation with the lab, not a number on a table.
Retail: crèmes, gels and sprays
The retail side is crèmes, gels and sprays at 8% and 10% DHA in formats from 1 to 8 oz across the retail line, plus the 8.5% Sass-ee Spray Tan in 4 oz. Confirmed names: the 8% retail spray tan, sunless gel and face crème; Show-Off, Monoi Sunless Crème and Seriously Addictive at 10%. Show-Off appears twice in the catalog — as the professional competition solution and as a retail product. Whether they are the same formula in different sizes is not published — ask for current specs. There is no mousse or foam product in the catalog — retail is crèmes, gels and sprays.
Retail is the second sale after the spray session.
Extenders and aftercare
Extenders are daily lotions with a small amount of DHA: After-Glo Crème at 2% and Monoi Tan Extender at 3% and 5%, all in 8 oz, with back-bar gallons available. They are aftercare, sold after the appointment — not a substitute for a spray session.
We publish no day count for how long a tan lasts. No duration is confirmed for these products, so we do not invent one. The aftercare guide is retail aftercare that extends a spray tan.
Pre-tan prep and back-bar
Pre-tan prep is three exfoliants, all 8 oz: Coconut Whipped Body Exfoliant, Coffee Body Exfoliant, and Slough Off Gel Body Exfoliant. What is in them is not published — ask for current ingredient specs. The back-bar runs in gallon and quart formats, including Cover Up Barrier Balm. The prep guide is pre-tan prep: exfoliation before a spray tan.
The additive drops — Bronzer, DHA Boost, Scent Boost and Glitter — come in 1 oz bottles. They are the smallest format in the line. What each one does and how it is dosed is not published — ask for current specs.
What to ask for — confirmed per order
Some details are confirmed per order, not published: minimum order quantities, sample pricing, turnaround and lead times, pH values, full ingredient lists, rinse and development times, and higher DHA strengths. Every one of those is “ask for current specs” — confirmed through Robert at LabelOrigin, not guessed here.
The same honesty applies to the making: SASS-EE is made in-house by Renaud Naturals in Loveland, Colorado, in small batches, fresh to order. The line is free of mineral oils, lanolin, parabens, PABA, petrochemicals, SLS and formaldehyde, and is never tested on animals.
How DHA works
DHA — dihydroxyacetone — is the active ingredient behind the tan. It reacts with amino acids in the dead cells of the skin's surface layer, the stratum corneum, forming brown pigments called melanoidins. That is the Maillard reaction, the same browning chemistry as food, and it is why a spray tan develops color without sun.
Color keeps developing for hours after application. That is standard DHA behavior, not a product promise — and it is why prep and aftercare matter as much as the solution itself.
