Private Label Skincare Manufacturers in Colorado

We checked four companies that manufacture private-label skincare in Colorado: Renaud Naturals in Loveland, Fifth Street Labs in Colorado Springs, OraLabs in Parker, and Midsolid in Douglas County — each checked on its own site in November 2026. Starting a line here means a DORA shop registration for your salon or spa, and a Standard Retail License for sales tax.

Private label skincare manufacturers in Colorado

Four makers are based in Colorado, and each one below is checked on its own site. Renaud Naturals in Loveland is our flagship client and a LabelOrigin partner — the disclosure sits next to its listing, because a list you can check is worth more than a list you have to take on trust. The other three are independent manufacturers, checked the same way. This list only includes companies that manufacture in Colorado: fulfillment-only companies and overseas factories marketing themselves as Colorado are not on it. Trilogy Laboratories serves Colorado from its facility in Fort Myers, Florida — it is not based in Colorado, so it is not in the table either. “Checked” here means one thing: we looked at each company’s own site in November 2026 for what it makes and where it is based. It is not an audit of quality, reliability, or formulas. And the samples on this page are Renaud’s — the other makers on this list are contacted through their own sites. Know a Colorado maker we missed? Tell us through the contact page and we will check it the same way.

Fifth Street Labs — Colorado Springs, CO

In its own words, Fifth Street Labs offers private label: its site says it can help you “create a unique private-label item” alongside white-label products and custom formulations, and its FAQ answers “Do you offer private label options?” with “Yes. We have several ready-to-go formulations available for private label.” Its catalogue lists cleansers, moisturizers, toners, serums, and masks and scrubs, and its address is 731 Chapel Hills Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. fifthstreetlabs.com

OraLabs, Inc. — Parker, CO

Founded in 1990, OraLabs operates an OTC Drug, FDA-registered, 150,000 sq. ft. facility in Parker, Colorado, and manufactures under private label, licensed brands, and contract manufacturing. Its categories are lip care, oral care, skin care, sun care, foot care, and analgesic — lip, sun and OTC care are its core, and skin care is one category among several. So the honest fit is this: OraLabs is a private-label manufacturer that makes skin care, not a facial-skincare specialist. 18685 E. Plaza Dr, Parker, CO 80134. oralabs.com

Starting your line in Colorado

Colorado’s rules are two filings from two agencies: a shop registration and a sales-tax license. The shop registration comes from the Colorado Office of Barber and Cosmetology Licensure (DORA), which requires one for salon and spa facilities — and a med spa offering esthetician services needs one, because the DORA bulletin covers every salon or spa facility and every licensee offering esthetician services. The bulletin does not name med spas separately, so we say that plainly rather than claim a wording that isn’t there. The sales-tax license is a Standard Retail License from the Department of Revenue — it covers wholesale sales as well, so no separate wholesale license is needed. The practitioner question is separate from both filings: the board’s site does not state a separate practitioner license for selling retail skincare, so we don’t claim one exists. One more thing, for tanning studios: the sales-tax half is the same for any Colorado business selling retail skincare, and the shop-registration half depends on the services you offer — DORA’s bulletin covers salon and spa facilities and licensees offering esthetician services.

The steps after that are the same as anywhere: brand, sample, label, launch. Our step-by-step guide walks through them: how to start a skincare line. Work out your margins first: private-label margin calculator. And the full 52-jurisdiction table is here: state rules for selling skincare in your med spa.

The buyers starting lines in Colorado are the same mix as anywhere: med spas building post-procedure aftercare, salons adding retail to the services they already sell, solo estheticians launching two or three products, and brand creators starting from a single hero product.

Why Colorado: a lab in Loveland

Renaud Naturals has formulated in-house in Loveland since 1997 — natural skincare, small batches, and a lab you can visit before you commit. For a Colorado med spa or salon, that means the manufacturer is a drive away, not a phone call to another state: you can see the formulas, the packaging, and the labels in person. Colorado’s elevation is also part of the brief: the air is thinner, so less UV is filtered out before it reaches skin. For every 1,000 feet above sea level, UV intensity rises by about 4% to 5% — and since much of Colorado sits at 5,000 feet or higher, Coloradans get roughly 20% to 30% more UV exposure than people at lower elevations. A Colorado line earns its place with sun protection and barrier care in the range, not as an afterthought. Boulder Community Health on UV in Colorado

Frequently Asked Questions

Who manufactures private label skincare in Colorado?

Four checked makers: Renaud Naturals in Loveland, Fifth Street Labs in Colorado Springs, OraLabs in Parker, and Midsolid in Douglas County. Each is listed above with what its own site says, checked November 2026. Trilogy Laboratories serves Colorado from Florida and is not a Colorado maker.

Do I need a shop license to sell skincare in my Colorado med spa?

Yes — a shop registration from DORA's Office of Barber and Cosmetology Licensure. It covers salon and spa facilities, and a med spa offering esthetician services needs one. The full Colorado row, with sources, is in our state-rules table.

Do I need a sales-tax license in Colorado?

Yes. A Standard Retail License from the Colorado Department of Revenue covers retail sales — and wholesale sales too, so no separate wholesale license is needed.

What are the minimums?

Only one Colorado maker publishes a number: Midsolid, with a minimum order of 1,500 bars. The other three confirm minimums in writing on request. Our listicle carries the published minimums other manufacturers put on their own sites.

How long does it take?

Ask for current timing in writing — no timeline figure is published here. Sampling and approvals usually take the longest; production itself is usually the shortest part. Our launch timeline tool maps the stages.

Can I visit the lab?

Yes — Renaud Naturals in Loveland offers lab visits. Request samples or a visit through the wholesale page.
